OpenLand is a midlands-based networking group for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans professionals working in the real estate, property and construction sectors. For details of this event see the OpenLand website.
Previous events have included speakers specialising in the property and construction sectors and those with a broad overview of LGBT issues relevant to all of us. A great chance to network, share good practice and to have time to think of the bigger issues that our 9-5 (or 24/7) don’t always allow.
November 7th event – an outstanding evening. Great talk from Jules Parkinson from Stonewall – she looks after the property sector and from Mark Allan the CEO of St Modwen who gave an extraordinarily articulate overview of the future of property (an world economies!) and a very thoughtful personal insight into LGBT issues. About 40 people attended from a great range of property-related organisations.
