A great discussion with Imperial about hoe best to support Civil Engineering Students. It reminded me how important surveys are to (a) raise the topic and get discussion going (b) provide qualitative and quantitative data for senior staff (who have budgets to fund workshops etc) and (c) to be a springboard to drill down into the details of personal experience through focus groups and interviews
